I love a happy ending. In a world where there is much heart ache and frustration, it is nice to have a story where good wins. Ella has gone to the ball. She has returned home and after weeks of living as the servant of her step family she finds out the prince is seeking her. He loves her. She has plucked up the courage to go to him, but her step mother has found the glass slipper and locks her in her tower.

You would think this would break Cinderella, but as an eternal optimist she recovers and decides it is the best for the Kit. This way he does not have to be wrapped up in the conniving drama that is her step mother. She decides he is better off without her and considers her act a service of love.

As fate would have it, she was meant to be found and the Kit follows the duke undercover, looking for Ella. AS we know Ella’s house is the last home to search and Ella was almost missed if it were not for her singing. The rest is a happily ever after as Kit and Ella are married and even use her home as summer home of sorts. Ella even takes measures to bring the old staff in for employ.

I hope that you and I will make it a goal to have courage and be kind. It is a choice, a daily to choice to see the good in the world and make it you main focus, This day in age, when the news only touts negativity and fuels fear, wouldn’t it be nice to spur on gratitude, kindness, positivity, respect and kindness.. There is a a saying “Be the change you want to see.” I believe the story of Cinderella expresses this sentiment perfectly and I hope we as a people can do the same.
