Has anyone fallen for Tristan yet? Tristan is our main character in “A Peculiar Royal.” He is a street rat of sorts, one whom begs and steals on the streets and lives with others who do the same. Tristan is also kind and quiet and is willing to help those worse off than himself.
TEA OF THE MONTH
Alonna, the author of “A Peculiar Royal” shared some specific teas for the country of Odsia. I had to try the Grecia-Romaina because I have a sweet tooth and the idea of candy apple, strawberry and white strawberry sounded divine. Do you add tea and cream? For my sweet themed teas I like to add some sugar and cream. It was delicious!
Does Tristan remind you a of a certain boy? Visions of Aladdin blurred through my mind as Tristan hopped about stealing food with his dog, hence my street rat reference The twist on the story though, is that Tristan is truly a Prince. When his parents were murdered fifteen years before, Tristan at the age of two, survived and fell into living on the streets. He has no memory or his royal lineage. All Tristan has from his past is a necklace with the date of his birthday engraven on it and the words “To our precious Tristan…With Love, Mum and Pa”
Tristan’s Grandfather, King Dorian has never given up on him. He searches for him still as he seeks for a worthy kind and just heir to the throne; this is where our story spurs forward, with Tristan meeting the royal guard and his royal cousin August (unbeknownst to him) recognizing him for who he really was.
